Logistics Executive - Essex, England, Essex
Our clients, a freight forwarding and logistic company based in Essex, are looking for a Logistics Executive, to join their team.
They are looking for a proactive and disciplined individual with a desire to succeed and to work as an integral part of their operations department.
All candidates must:
Be involved in deep sea international freight forwarding, specifically for the last 3-5 years with a good solid track record and have excellent customer service skills.
Extensive knowledge of forwarding procedures (predominately imports)
Experience of Datafreight (managed by LSI Sigma Ltd would be a great advantage, as it is the companies operational software programme)
Skills Required:
Good customer service and communication skills, as well as attention to detail in presentation, spelling and grammar.
IT literate with a good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
Be able to work as part of a team
Previous experience in the following duties is required:
Serving existing customers at the same time as developing support for the company
Passing on potential information to the sales and development company in order to push forward
Have an eye to achieve additional revenue/profit when opportunities present themselves
Dealing with general operational activities
The salary will be in the region of £20,000-24,000, depending on experience and skills.
