They have a range of internationally recognised products that are manufactured onsite and sourced from various sister companies globally. After several successful contract wins built on the back of 10 years of success they need an experienced Quality Manager to join the team.
The Role:
Reporting to the Operations Director, this position is intended to take ownership of all quality issues and both report on them and to take them on to a suitable conclusion. Liaison with all departments within the company and both suppliers and customers will be essential. Systems must be developed to speed processing of quality issues and where possible permanently resolve them.
About you:
You will have a strong background within quality management, with relevant qualifications in Quality Assurance.
You will have the ability to motivate and inspire a team of technicians and lead the department with a proactive focus.
Computer literate, able to handle excel, word and access, written reports and company ERP systems, able to face customers and suppliers, a problem solver, analytical and have a highly responsible attitude to quality issues and overcoming them for the benefit of customers and production alike.
You will have experience with 8D root cause analysis and 5Y problem solving. Interested?
