Equipment Supply Manager - London
An opportunity has arisen for an Equipment Supply Manager to join a leading Retailer on an 18 month contract basis. London based Head Office but must be prepared to travel to distribution centres.
What are you responsible for?
- The delivery of Equipment for store projects, including modernisations and new project roll-outs
- Planning to ensure on-time phased deliveries, responding to store challenges and management of effective close out process
- Ensure cost effective approach to storage and distribution for all equipment
Key Accountabilities:
Accountable for the day-to-day operations and issue resolution of 3rd Party equipment storage and supply
- Manage the cost effective and commercial approach to the movement of equipment stock from warehouse to Installer handover
- Plan the most cost effective solution for Installer staging
- Provide independent commercial and operational decision-making to store or Retail requests and issues
- Operate across multi-site warehouse locations
- Ensure sufficient, trained and capable resource is in place to manage efficient stock storage, handling and picking
- Ensure the maintenance of an accurate Stock Record of equipment
- Accountable for supply chain and storage performance to agreed SLA's and KPI targets
- Confirm stock holdings meet Food Equipment Schedule requirements
- Assist the strategic planning for the equipment supply chain and logistics
Scope:
- Reports directly to the Shopfit Supply Manager
- Equipment storage of up to £10m
- Equipment supply of up to £30m
Technical Skills
- Knowledge and experience of the e2e process and organisational function for Store Developments
- Principles of equipment handling, storage and delivery to stores
- An understanding of Shopfit Installation within Projects
Systems Skills
- Experience of stock control systems desirable
